Undergraduate Student Researcher

The Novel Device Lab [NDL] is a research lab at the University of Cincinnati that is currently research sweat and sweat sensing technology. My project was to develop a real-time sweat rate sensor. The lab offered a unique opportunity to see what graduate school is like, while allowing me to meet some really awesome people. NDL stands out because of its great people and great work it produces. From the moment I began in the lab, I was immediately held responsibility for my own project, which challenged me to take more responsibility for my work.

After my fall co-op concluded, my work continued at Eccrine Systems, Inc., a startup based on the lab's technology. I gained an in-depth look at what it looks like to transfer a project from a research lab into the startup/production mindset and environment.
