Year-in-Review

 

Packing my entire life into a suite case for the next 7.5 months really put into perspective how much I have grown since I came to college. I am writing this review sitting at a train station in Germany, waiting for the train that will take me to my home for the rest of the summer. At this time last year, I never imagined this would be me, yet here I am, seemingly on a completely different trajectory than I was last year. The best word to describe year 4 is "transition." I finally embraced my role as an upperclassman, planned several major international excursions, starting thinking about life after my undergraduate degree, and eventually learned to say goodbye to some of my beloved leadership positions.
